What is self-help?


These are activities that you can work through on your own to improve your mental health state and your mood. You can do it on its own or in conjuction with physical, psychological, or therapeutic treatments.

Therapists may ask you to complete self-help exercises as ‘homework’ after an appointment to use in your next session or as support between sessions.
